Kimberly McIntyre is a Program Director for the University of California, San Diego’s Sustainability Solutions Institute, where she provides high-level project management support, serving as a point of contact for UCSD faculty and researchers, government agency representatives and other participating organizations in the conduct of international environmental and sustainability research.

Along with SSI's other program director Kristin Blackler, Kim is responsible for day-to-day oversight and coordination of interdisciplinary research projects sponsored by the Sustainability Solutions Institute. She supports SSI in developing international interdisciplinary research efforts and strategies, coordinating and supporting over 100 faculty PIs and research teams. 

Kim holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Marine Science and Biology from the University of Miami, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Hawaii and a Master’s of Advanced Studies in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation from Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California, San Diego.
